Claims
Our claims process is very simple
1. Send late rent notices and commence eviction proceedings as usual when renter falls behind.
2. Inform TheGuarantors at update@theguarantors.com of late payment within 45 days.
3. TheGuarantors will contact the renter for mitigation and update your team.
4. File a claim with TheGuarantors within 60 days after regaining possession.
5. Provide rent ledger, proof of apartment damages and other necessary documents to support the claim.

Easily and quickly file claims for various scenarios
1. The lease has expired
Renter has vacated with an outstanding balance
2. The unit has been re-rented
Previous renter had an outstanding balance
3. The lease has not expired and apartment is vacant
Your team has taken possession of the unit and will re-list it
4. Claiming vacancy loss on an open claim
A claim payment has been previously issued on the bonded lease.
